EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: MARKET UPDATE The bulls finally managed to take the S&P to a fresh all time high with the Dow not too far from its all time high. For a change blue chips are outshining tech stocks as financial stocks have improved as bond yields have risen. The VIX is fairly flat but remains below all key technical levels as traders appear more confident than they were going back a few weeks. Tech stocks are lagging some as traders await a big Apple event where they will get an update on the new iPhone. And of course when Apple speaks, traders listen. Gold has cooled after moving higher non-stop the past month. So traders are showing a willingness to put their money into riskier assets. Now that the S&P has hit an all time high what might be next? 2500 seems a logical target for the bulls. In the meantime the Dow got within 45 points of its all time high of 22,179 a level the bulls would like to clear. So overall a bright picture for stocks. It is in overbought territory now so could stall or even pullback so don't hesitate to lock in some profits. Our target remaining at $42. NVDA - Stock has cooled off a bit after touching $170 earlier in the session. Turns out there are a lot of $170 call options expiring this Friday so it could stall in the near term. Our price target remains at $172.50. Mid Cap Watch List SGMS - Stock is down slightly and a close above $37.20 would be bullish. KORS - Stock is down slightly after testing its 20 day moving average at $42 for the second time in the past few days. As long as it holds that level it remains positioned to move higher. A close above $42.81 would be bullish. PSTG - We added this stock to the Watch List yesterday with an initial entry price of $14.54 with a second entry on any pullback to $14.10 and a price target of $16.40 with a stop of any close below the 20 day moving average, currently at $14.11. A close above $14.99 would be very bullish. Small Cap Watch List None DELETIONS FROM THE WATCH LIST None at this time At your service, John Hopkins EarningsBeats
