EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: MARKET UPDATE The Blue Chip rally continues. This is pretty much what it's been the past 3 weeks. A few stocks within the Dow on a daily basis accounting for the bulk of the recent gains. It certainly hasn't been a tech rally. The NASDAQ is hasn't gained any ground since the beginning of the month. And now its trying to hold its 20 day moving average. The S&P did pullback to its 20 day yesterday and held where it needed to. For the bulls that beats the alternatives. The VIX has settled down after yesterday's big spike to the upside. But its still showing that traders no longer have 100% confidence in the market. We're seeing some mixed results on earnings reports. For example, the Blue Chip stocks have done quite well while Biotech stocks are getting slammed with Celgene alone down 18% on its earnings miss and warning for the future. And tech stocks have been mixed as well, thus the lagging NASDAQ. This points to the fact that we are now deep into earnings season with two of the three major indexes stalled. So it gets me to thinking that traders are already asking what might come next? But we've still got a lot of highly visible companies reporting over the next day including Amazon, Google, Intel and MSFT after the bell tonight that could either spark the NASDAQ or depress it even further.
