EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: MARKET UPDATE The market has flipped from an all blue chip to all tech love fest with the Dow flat and the S&P up 1.5%. Some major tech companies reported strong earnings and traders immediately jumped in on the long side. Now the NASDAQ has joined the Dow in hitting an all time high with the S&P lagging just slightly. The VIX is down over 7% as it moves down below a few important levels of support and as traders breathe a bit easier on the strong earnings. Some good news for the bulls; none of the major indexes are now technically overbought. So there's room to run higher if traders are ready to put more capital to work. The market continues to power thru earnings season and given the overall reaction, so far so good. But now that so many highly visible companies have already reported, is there still more gas in the tank? In other words, have the strong results now been accounted for? Maybe, but we still haven't hear from Apple; they report their numbers on Thursday. There's no denying the bulls are in charge here. And the more companies that beat earnings? That's good for us as it will provide more potential buying opportunities once things settle down. So now patience becomes important because stocks that gap up on strong earnings inevitably pullback and we'll be waiting.
