By taking a day off I mean the Dow and S&P are flat with the NASDAQ down slightly; the bulls can live with that. The VIX remains firmly in the mid 9's as trader confidence remains high. Does the market remain overbought? Absolutely. Do traders care? Apparently not. It continues to beg the question; could we get a major correction out of nowhere? Possibly. But traders have been very impressed with overall earnings and when everything is said and done, the bottom line rules. It still makes sense to be very picky here, focusing on the best of the best, especially those companies that knocked it out of the park when they reported their earnings. Bulls remain in charge. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: SHORTS: None at this time LONGS: Large Cap Watch List BX - Stock is up slightly as it tries to close back above $33.29 which would be bullish. Mid Cap Watch List SKX - We added this stock to the Watch List this morning at an initial entry price of $30.93 with a second entry on any pullback to the 20 day moving average, currently at $30.20 with a price target of $33.80 and a stop of any INTRA DAY move below $30.07. Small Cap Watch List SYNT - Stock is down 1% as it continues to consolidate. A close back above $23.61 would be bullish.
