EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: Market Update: We've got a new trading week under way and so far all of the major indexes are flat. That might not seem great but considering the VIX is back above all key technical levels the bulls will take it. The bulls are also happy that all of the major indexes remain above all key technical levels; they are still in control. Why does the market continue to hold up so well, in spite of talk that tax reform has stalled? It's called earnings; they came in at the upper end for Q3. And to traders, nothing really is more important than solid earnings. The S&P made its third trip back to its 20 day average in three days and bounced right on cue. The S&P got as low as 2566 last week so that is now key support. To the upside the S&P got as high as 2587 so that is the range for now. It might not be a great time to add aggressively on the long side but it's still very risky to short here, especially with the bulls remaining in charge. A close above that level, currently at $43.12, would be very bullish. Mid Cap Watch List SKX - Stock is up by almost 1.7%% and a close above $32.55 would be bullish. OSK - Stock is down slightly and the next key level to watch is the 20 day moving average, currently at $86.42. Small Cap Watch List PETS - Stock is fairly flat. Would like to see it close above Friday's close of $37.29 which would be bullish. SSTK - Stock is fairly flat and a close above $40 would be bullish.
