EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
Market Update:
Tech stocks have been under fire lately so the bulls are happy to see the NASDAQ higher today as it moves back above all key technical levels. The Dow and S&P are lagging today but that's not such a bad thing; they both got technically overbought. In fact, some additional selling would be welcome, though that might be easier said than done. The VIX shows that nerves have calmed some as it is down almost 7% and back below its 200 day moving average. The bulls are certainly pleased that tech stocks are in the forefront today. The market always does better when all of the major indexes are moving higher in sync. We've got a pretty well defined trading range on the S&P now; 2665 to the upside and 2608, the 20 day moving average, to the downside. In fact we could well see some consolidation in that range for a while as traders take a pause after the strong move in stocks the past two weeks. I don't have any major problems with the market here; it remains strong. At the same time we might find it is going to be a bit trickier to score big gains on individual stocks if we do move into consolidation mode. Accordingly, it remains important to zero in on those stocks that traders gravitate to no matter the market conditions, which is exactly what we plan to do.

LONGS:
Large Cap Watch List
DVN - Stock is down slightly. A close back above $39.65 would be bullish.
Mid Cap Watch List

Small Cap Watch List
CVA - Stock is down slightly as this stock continues to consolidate right near its 20/50 day moving averages. Would like to see it close back above the recent close of $15.35 which would be bullish.
DO - Stock is down slightly. Would like to see it close above the recent close of $16.68 to keep it on its path higher.
IDTI - Stock is up slightly as it once again held its 50 day moving average on an earlier pullback. At a minimum would like to see it close back above Friday's close of $30.75.
IMAX - Stock is up slightly after moving to $25 earlier in the session. Want to see it hold its 20 day moving average, currently at $24.55, to keep it on track.
KLIC - Stock is higher by 3% with the next key level of resistance at the 20 day moving average, currently at $25.09. A close above that level would be very bullish.
