EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members, KEY EARNINGS REPORTS: Tuesday: AAL, AMGN, APD, CHKP, CIT, CMCSA, DD, DHI, EA, F, GLW, HRS, ILMN, ITW, LXK, NUE, PFE, T, TGI, VMW, YHOO Wednesday: AVB, BA, BIIB, CNQR, CP, CTXS, DOW, ELY, EMC, FB, GNTX, HES, IRF, LRCX, LVX, MUR, QCOM, SLG, SYMC, TSCO, VLO, WLP COMMENTS: Our Watch List is getting very low right now, but I expect that to change. Personally, I'm very concerned about the market in the near-term so I don't want to overload our Watch Lists with so much volatility and uncertainty present. We should know a lot more about the market later in the week. ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: There are potential Watch List candidates out there, but I will likely hold off on adding any until this period of higher volatility subsides. The reaction to the Federal Reserve's policy statement tomorrow will be important, so it makes little sense adding risk to your portfolio just in front of such a big announcement. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Large Cap Watch List: BCR - Approaching solid gap support zone in the 127-130 range. FFIV - Today's high of 109.24 came within 76 cents of our 110.00 Target Price. Don't be afraid to take profits when given the opportunity. IHS - Trading beneath 113.00 Closing Stop. In this market environment, we want to keep our losses to a minimum. So if IHS closes beneath 113.00, it will be removed. LEN - Bouncing nicely off of Monday's 50 day SMA test. ROC - Hanging onto price support in the 68-69 area. TIF - We're not removing for a close one penny below our Closing Stop of 82.50. Today's bounce is nice, but another close below 82.49 and we'll remove. We'd like to see this one turn here. Mid Cap Watch List: ASNA - We're removing ASNA from our Watch List as the recent warning has continued to keep downward pressure on the stock and it closed yesterday beneath short-term price support near 19.40. TTEK - A Second Entry on TTEK makes sense at the rising 50 day SMA, which is also close to trendline support. I'd use 28.00 as my Closing Stop level (or 27.50 if you want to give it a bit more room). VIPS - Beautiful bounce off the rising 20 day EMA. 108-110 would be a nice area for profit taking. Small Cap Watch List: ELY - WILL REMOVE FROM OUR WATCH LIST AS IT REPORTS EARNINGS ON WEDNESDAY. GREAT TRADE!!! TASR - Flirting with the top of gap support at 16.51, closing just one penny above that level on Monday. The bottom of gap support just below 16.00 would be next support if the current level fails. DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: ELY as it reports earnings on Wednesday. ASNA is being removed as it's been a poor performer. IHS has a tight closing stop at 113.00. If it closes below that level, we'll remove it. Happy trading!
