EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: We have switched email providers as we were finding unnecessary delays in deliveries to our members. Hopefully this will resolve the problem. If you continue to have email receipt problems please let me know. Market Update: A new trading day and week are under way with all of the major indexes higher. In some ways this shows the strength of the market considering the bombing incident in New York earlier this morning, something that could have had a very negative impact on stocks. The VIX is showing traders are calm here as it remains in the 9's. None of the major indexes are overbought technically so there's room to move higher if traders remain in a buying mood. It is possible that the market could consolidate for a few days. To the bulls that represents an OK scenario even though they still have their eyes on higher prices. Right now we've got a range on the S&P of 2665 to the upside and 2624 to the downside. So it wouldn't take much to retest that all time high. At the same time, as long as the bulls continue to hold the S&P above all key technical levels, they will remain in charge.
