EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update: So what's new today? Not much, just the usual, meaning the Dow and S&P are at record highs while the NASDAQ lags. The VIX is flat; no worries out there. And this with the Fed about to raise rates later today. All of this to say traders are betting that companies will continue to report strong earnings once we get to the new year. Along with these new all time highs, both the Dow and S&P are technically overbought. But traders are thinking they will deal with that later. In looking at the S&P and Dow it could be that the bulls are hoping to reach new levels by year end; 2700 and 25,000, respectively. That might seem like a stretch but in fact just a few solid days could do the trick. It could be a bit tougher to get to those levels given how overbought the Dow and S&P are. But any way you look at it, the bulls remain in charge. Would like to see it at least close back above its 200 day moving average, currently at $25.09. KLIC - Stock is flat after making a decent move earlier in the session. Really needs to clear its 20 day moving average, currently at $24.63 to build fresh momentum. SCVL - Stock is higher by over 3% as it moves back above all key technical levels. A close back above $25.77 would be bullish. HIMX - Stock moved below its stop of $10.37 so is being removed from the Watch List. If you continue to hold it really needs to move back above its 50 day moving average, currently at $10.99, or could remain vulnerable to additional selling. EXTR - Stock is higher by over 2% and a close back above its 20 day moving average, currently at $12.70, would be very bullish.
