EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
Market Update:
The action today is fine; it's not great but its not horrible either. It's about what I expected as we ease into year end. There's some tax loss selling going on, some window dressing going on and it's all happening on light volume. We could still get a rally into year end but that would be a bonus for the bulls. In other words, I believe we will mostly drift into year end with some upside potential. But the trading we are seeing now makes it tricky to book big gains. Of course there will be some nice winners but the lack of volume makes it easier for stocks to be manipulated. And this is why it makes sense to me to lay low here, see what happens over the next few days and then revisit once the new year begins. We're down to 3 active positions right now which is fine. We'll watch them as well the next few days to see how they perform and act accordingly. We've had a few stocks stop out recently but when I looked at the last 10 trades going back to the end of November there have been five winners, four losers and one break even with the winners averaging a gain of 6.2% and the losers an average loss of 1.8%. That works well over the course of a year. So we'll continue to stay the course for now and see if we might get even better opportunities in the near future. And before you know it, we'll be right into the thick of another earnings season come Mid January which is right around the corner!

BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS:
SHORTS:
None at this time
LONGS:
Large Cap Watch List
SBAC - Stock is higher by over 1% and so far is back above its 50 day moving average. Now if it can work its way back above the 20 day, currently at $162.53, that would be very bullish.
Mid Cap Watch List
None
Small Cap Watch List
KLIC - Stock closed below its 50 day moving average yesterday so was removed from the Watch List.
ACLS - Stock has perked up and is higher by over 2.5%. Would like to see it close back above its 20 day moving average, currently at $30.33 which would be bullish.
AVID - Stock showed some life earlier in the session but has pulled back some. Would like to see it close back above its 20 day moving average, currently at $6.03, which would be a plus.
DELETIONS FROM THE WATCH LIST
KLIC has been removed from the Watch List.
