EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update: This going nowhere market is going...nowhere. Even though all of the major indexes are higher they remain well below the most recent highs as stocks continue to churn. The bulls have been unable to build on momentum while the bears are having trouble convincing traders to completely bail. This has resulted in a stalemate which makes it almost impossible to trade with much success. Right now the market is neither oversold or overbought; it's neutral at best. Something will have to give to get traders more engaged, either a breakout with some gusto over key technical levels or enough of a selloff to get traders to put more capital to work. The key range on the S&P for now is 2763 to the upside and 2648 to the downside. Right now it's trading between the 20 and 50 day moving averages, 2717 and 2730, respectively. So for sure traders are trying to figure out the next most likely direction. BRIEF COMMENTS ON WATCH LIST STOCKS SHORTS: None at this time LONGS: Large Cap Watch List SNAP - Stock made a nice move early on only to pullback right to its 20 day moving average, currently at $17.36. Really needs to hold that level or it could make another move back to that February 7 level of $16.96. At a minimum would like to see it close back above yesterday's close of $17.51 and a move above today's high of $17.94 would be very bullish.
