EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update: The bears are finally building some momentum here and right on cue with the S&P getting within 10 points of key resistance earlier in the session. Really this selling is overdue; it's been non-stop higher since the February 7 bottom. Of course we've seen many times where it looks like the market is ready to give it up, only to see the type of resilience the bulls are known for. But we should keep in mind that stochastics on all of the major indexes are now in the mid to upper 90's, showing the market is back into overbought territory. Nervousness has picked up today with the VIX up by 15%. In looking at the S&P the first key level of support is around 2753. To the upside we saw the S&P touch 2790 so that is now resistance. Bottom line for now is I see no reason to do anything else then to let the market give back some points. If traders in unison sense that today could be a near term top we could see the selling intensify so we'll watch and see what develops as the day progresses.
