EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
Market Update:
The market remains in no-man's land as the S&P continues to trade in a narrow range. Earlier in the session the S&P got within 2 points of its 50 day moving average only to fall right on cue, pulling back just above the 20 day. So we're basically looking at less than a 20 point trading range. The VIX actually fell sharply earlier this morning only to rebound back above its 50 day showing traders remain skeptical on any moves higher. All this is pointing out is traders aren't convinced that the market is about to break out and they aren't convinced the market is going to break down and thus the stale mate. It's hard to tell what catalyst it will take to break the stale mate, perhaps additional news regarding the proposed tariff regulations or maybe tomorrow's jobs report where traders will be watching very closely to see if wages are continuing to rise - i.e., is inflation becoming a bigger concern? Right now the market will be capped unless the S&P can close back above 2740. Yesterday's low was 2701 so that is now support. It remains a good time to go light here while avoiding the choppy action.

INVA - Stock is slightly higher though off the session high. Any close above today's high of $16.54 would be very bullish.
