EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: First, we will be sending out room instructions for today's Quarterly Earnings webinar prior to the event that will begin at 4:30 pm eastern. Please note that the session will be recorded for those of you unable to attend the live event. Market Update: The bulls are pleased any day the market is higher and we're seeing that today as we begin a new trading day and week. This move higher today comes one trading day after the market got hammered with traders taking advantage of the lower prices. Volatility continues to rule the day with the VIX remaining above all key technical levels and as traders keep in mind how quickly good fortunes can change. The bulls are looking forward to earnings season kicking in this week with some big banks reporting their numbers on Thursday and Friday. Expectations remain quite high with little tolerance for those companies that come up short. The bulls will point to the fact that they managed to hold the S&P above its 200 day moving average on Friday, something they've managed to do for the past two weeks. But the bears are keenly aware that any move below that level could result in additional selling and currently have no intentions of letting up, at least not in the near term. That 200 day is currently at 2594 so that remains key support. To the upside the bulls should expect some resistance right up near 2650. SQ - Stock was added to the Watch List on Friday at an entry price of $45.15 with a stop of any close below $45 and a price target of $49.50. It's higher by almost 2% today and a close back above the 50 day moving average, currently at $47.65, would be bullish.
