EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: Market Update: Options expiration Friday continues to add to volatility with all of the major indexes lower. Also having a big impact on the market today is the selling in Apple with the stock lower by 3.3% with growing concerns about its upcoming earnings report. Though the market is under pressure today the VIX remains below some key technical levels. Remember it really did get overly complacent recently, at least on a relative basis, so some bounce was in order. Earlier in the session all of the major indexes pulled back right to their respective 20 day moving averages before bouncing which is what the bulls were hoping for. Now we'll see if those levels hold into the close. Right now support on the S&P is at 2669, the session low, and a close below that level could result in more selling while a move back above the 50 day, currently at 2687 would be bullish. A close back above $15.50 would be very bullish. GPS - Stock moved below our Intra Day stop of $29.00 so is being removed from the Watch List. MU - Stock is down slightly as it hangs near its 50 day moving average. A close back above the 20 day, currently at $52.12, would be bullish.
