EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: First, please note that I will be conducting a webinar today at 4:30 where the focus will be on shorting stocks. Market Update: You have to hand it to the bulls for their stubborn ways as they held the fort exactly as they needed to last week with all of the major indexes higher as we begin a new trading day and week. Just like last week the tech heavy NASDAQ is showing the greatest strength with Apple hitting another all time high while at the same time being technically overbought. So just like that, AAPL went from being down in the dumps to overbought courtesy of Warren Buffet giving a boost of confidence to the stock. In looking at the Dow and S&P they both have bounced nicely from their respective 200 day moving averages and cleared their 20 day moving averages while bumping up against their 50 day moving averages. So now we'll see if this current rally has more legs or will the bulls have some difficulty clearing some important technical hurdles. In looking at the VIX I've noticed something interesting; it's higher even though the market is higher. This could be an indication that there's not much left to the rally. Right now the 50 day on the SP is at 2679 so this is a level the bulls will need to clear to retain the momentum. To the downside traders will be keeping a close on the 200 day, currently at 2617. It's been a tough level to penetrate to the downside with the bulls knowing if that goes it could spell more trouble.
