From: [email protected] Dear Members: First, please note that we will be positing the recording of yesterday's webinar that focused on Shorting later today and will let you know when it is ready for your review. Market Update: If there is such a thing as "no-man's land" we're seeing that today. It's affecting both the long and the short side with the market unable to gain any traction but not exactly collapsing either. If you look at the S&P its pretty much in the middle of its 20 and 50 day moving averages making it tricky to gauge market direction. The bulls will point to the fact that they have been able to hold the line at the 200 day every time its been visited the past six weeks and they do have a case. But the bears will point to the fact that the S&P has been contained, failing to hold any gains off of the recent bounces and they have a case as well. Thus the stalemate. This is coming at what is typically a bearish time of the year so perhaps even more reluctance to jump in on the long side here. If the bulls are looking to make a statement here it needs to start by clearing the April 18 high of 2717 as that could lead the market higher. On the flip side, the bears can forget about inflicting any serious damage unless they are able to successful close the S&P below its 200 day, currently at 2617. In the meantime, if you continue to trade make sure you keep your stops tight and take profits that come your way.
