EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: First, please note that the recording of Monday's webinar on shorting stocks is now available for your review: https://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/connect-downloads-updates.html Market Update: Not much has changed today with both the Dow and S&P failing to break out at key technical levels and the NASDAQ the strongest of the bunch. In other words there's an awful lot of churning going on without any progress which continues to stymie the bulls and bears alike. Presently the S&P is sitting right at its 50 day moving average of 2676, certainly better than hovering down near the 200 day which is at 2619, at least as far as the bulls are concerned. With the bulk of major earnings reports now out of the way traders are looking for any new headlines that might help them make trading decisions. Short of that we've got to rely on the charts to help guide us. And what do the charts show? That the S&P is much closer to recent lows than the all time high that was achieved on January 26 when it touched 2872. So there's certainly plenty of room to run to the upside if the bulls can grab the momentum here but a bad day or two could take the S&P right back to its 200 day, exactly what the bears are hoping for.
