EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update: I think it's fair to say that a lot of the volatility the past few sessions is related to today's option expiration. This is particularly true when looking at the QQQ's and SPY's which have worked there way to levels that have wiped out a lot of option premium. This is fairly common when we get to the third Friday of each month; market makers want to pay out as little as possible in options premiums. In looking at the overall picture, not much has changed. All of the major indexes remain above key technical levels with the bulls able to declare they remain in charge. At the same time the market is stuck and going nowhere. The current range on the S&P is 2692 to the downside and 2742 to the upside. It's pretty much in the middle of that range right now as the stalemate continues.
