EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: Market Update: The tide can turn very quickly as we've already seen this morning with all of the major indexes well off of their session highs and a reminder of how quickly things can shift in a volatile market. Just like we've seen the bulls hold the line at important support levels for quite some time the bears stepped in just as the S&P was testing its 20 day moving average at 2747 when the reversal began. But there is some OK news today. First, it was good to see the futures go from deep red to green prior to the opening bell. Next, it's good to see the Dow and S&P outpacing the NASDAQ for a change; the market functions much better when the major indexes are all aligned. Next, the VIX is lower again by 5% today after the sharp move higher on Monday. But make no mistake about it; traders continue to have one finger on the sell button in case early gains can't hold. The range on the S&P I mentioned yesterday remains in place; 2700 to the downside and 2750 to the upside with traders wondering which of those might go first. BRIEF COMMENTS ON WATCH LIST STOCKS SHORTS: None LONGS: Large Cap Watch List EXPD - Stock is higher by 1% and a close back above the 20 day, currently at $74.40, would be very bullish. APTV - We added this stock this morning at an entry price of $95.59 with a price target of $102 and a stop of any INTRA DAY move below $94.30. If it moves below $94.30 at any point during the trading day it will be removed from the Watch List. Would like to see it close above the 20 day, currently at $95.14, which would be bullish. Mid Cap Watch List None Small Cap Watch List CSOD - Stock is down slightly after making a nice move higher earlier in the session. A close above $48.82 would be bullish.
