EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update: The market took a much needed pause yesterday with the bulls thinking one day of selling might be enough with all of the major indexes higher. One thing that has been consistent throughout this volatile year is the bulls have managed to hold the line at key technical levels time and again. This has frustrated the bears to no end as the selling never seems to last too long. Traders are anxious to see how the market responds to tomorrow' earnings reports from Citigroup, JP Morgan, PNC and Wells Fargo when they release their numbers before the open. Though it represents only four companies it still could set the early tone for the thousands of companies getting ready to report over the next several weeks. The S&P got as high as 2795 on Tuesday so that is the new bar to top though the March 13 high of 2801.90 is even more important. And the bulls would like to see the S&P close back above 2800 since that hasn't happened since February 1.
