This is by design as the market remains quite unstable. We could see big moves to the downside and an increase in volatility at any time, so beware. It's why we've been prudent about taking profits recently on stocks like FFIV and SPLK. When you have solid trades, don't hesitate to bank them and await better trading opportunities. ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: There are no additions today. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Large Cap Watch List: CAT - Been a great performer since adding. Moved to over 96.50 earlier in the session with rising 20 day EMA acting as significant support. CNQR - HUGE day on Tuesday and adding slightly to those gains today. Now up 9 bucks since first adding to our Watch List. FFIV - We're out and this one has continued thriving, but the long-term negative divergence suggests that we remain cautious for now. LEN - For those looking for initial entry, 40.16 represents a good one. Just keep some powder dry for additional entry if the market weakens from the current level. SPLK - Took profits on this one Tuesday. Potential reversing candle today - careful here. TEL - Could be printing an inverse head & shoulders continuation pattern. That would require another move to 58.00 to set the right side of the neckline and wouldn't be a bad area to take some short-term profits. Mid Cap Watch List: GMT - Relatively flat since adding to our Watch List, but consolidating huge gains not such a bad thing. TTEK - Squeezing in a symmetrical triangle. We would take profits on any move back to 30.00. VIPS - Pulling back, but not at all surprising given the signs of slowing momentum here. Small Cap Watch List: No comments today.
