EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: Market Update: The market has been getting it right lately as we continue to see companies that beat earnings expectations rewarded while those that disappoint suffer the consequences. That's really the way it should work rather than lump all stocks into one basket. So far the NASDAQ is higher after hitting an all time high yesterday and now traders will be watching closely to see how the market reacts when Facebook reports tonight and Amazon reports tomorrow. The VIX continues to show traders are quite calm at the moment as it remains below all key technical levels and the pullback we saw yesterday did help to cool off the heated oscillators. The 1-2 punch of FB and AMZN between today and tomorrow will offer further clues as to whether the bulls can continue moving the market higher or if a near term top is in. We saw the very positive response from Google's numbers so both stocks could move higher IF they beat expectations. On the flip side many stocks are priced for perfection so no real margin for disappointment. The S&P got as high as 2829 yesterday so that's the new bar for the bulls to climb. To the downside the bulls will be looking to hold support near the 20 day, currently just below 2790. Really needs to close back above its 20 day, currently at $48.76, to get back on track. TLRD - Stock is higher by almost 2% and a close above yesterday's high of $22.06 would be bullish.
