EB Watch List Update Report

john s hopkins -
Dear Members: First, please note that I've decided to conduct a webinar this afternoon at 4:30 pm eastern. During this event I will discuss a dozen or so stocks on the Candidate Tracker that could become high reward to risk trading candidates with some patience. I will be sending out room instructions later this afternoon for those who want to join me. Also the session will be recorded for those unable to attend. Market Update: We've got a mixed picture today as we begin a new trading day and week with the NASDAQ lagging the Dow and S&P. What's interesting is the script has shifted from interest in tech stocks to interest in blue chips. It's a little deceptive given the NASDAQ came close to its record high less than two weeks ago whereas the Dow remains almost 1,000 points below its all time high. But at the moment the NASDAQ is struggling to hold above its 20 day moving average while the Dow and S&P remain nicely above all key technical levels. Without question the market does better when all of the major indexes are in sync. In fact should the NASDAQ weaken further there's a decent chance both the Dow and S&P will feel the impact. We're at an interesting time of the year as we start closing in on September, a month that often favors the bears. Earnings season has come and gone, traders are fitting in last minute vacations and tech stocks are stumbling some. But the bulls still have the upper hand here as they have for a very long time so it won't be so easy to derail the market.
