EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update: I pointed out in yesterday's Market Update that dumping of some large cap tech stocks was the primary reason the NASDAQ was lower while the Dow and S&P held fairly well. Now today traders are back to scooping up some of the same names that were under fire yesterday with the bulls showing once again that they remain in charge of the action. Just yesterday the VIX was showing a concerned trader. Today, not so much. Instead the market remains in churn mode; it hasn't made any progress in the past few weeks, but it has held right where it needed to each time it looked like the bears might get the upper hand. The high of August 29 of 2916 remains a target for the bulls; clearing that level could make things interesting. The 20 day moving average, currently at 2883, remains technical support. BRIEF COMMENTS ON WATCH LIST STOCKS SHORTS: None LONGS: Large Cap Watch List None Mid Cap Watch List STAY - Stock has been in serious consolidate mode for two weeks now. It got as high as $20.07 on September 13 so that is a level it needs to clear to move higher. As a reminder we changed the stop to any CLOSE below $19.70. If it closes below that level it will be removed from the Watch List. Small Cap Watch List TLYS - Stock is higher by 2% after hitting our second entry level of $18 yesterday. A close back above the 20 day moving average, currently at $18.85, would be bullish. Deletions from Watch List None At your service, John Hopkins EarningsBeats
