EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
Market Update:
Two new records today with both the Dow and S&P hitting all time highs. This is what the bulls have been angling for lately knowing the NASDAQ has moved to the back of the pack - i.e., two out of three ain't bad! However the bulls would REALLY like to see all of the major indexes hitting their strides in sync which would just add more power to the overall market. Not surprisingly, the non-stop Dow is now technically overbought; it's risen almost 1700 points since the August 15 low. But neither the S&P nor the NASDAQ are technically overbought which leaves more room to the upside if traders remain in a buying mood. Once again traders will try to decide how high the market might go now that we've seen some record highs. The S&P so far has gotten as high as 2927; perhaps the next target will be between 2950 and 3000. Wherever it lands the bulls remain squarely in charge and short of some major profit taking by the end of the day the shorts remain on the ropes.
