EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: This is an early and abbreviated Market Update as I will be traveling today. The S&P closed below its 20 day moving average for the first time since mid August while the NASDAQ closed below its 50 day for the first time since late July. Only the Dow remains above all key technical levels. The VIX spiked sharply as well showing some near term nervousness. The next key level of support on the S&P is its 50 day, currently at 2876, a level the bulls know needs to hold or their could be further selling. So the market remains vulnerable here with two of the three major indexes technically challenged. At the same time there are still a LOT of companies, particularly in the NASDAQ, that are very oversold which could present some nice opportunities. As it pertains to our existing alerts, WSM closed below its stop level so will be removed from the Watch List. And we will keep our stops in place on the remaining stocks on the list in case selling deepens. I want to wish everyone a restful weekend and I will be back Monday with my EB Watch List Update Report. At your service, John Hopkins EarningsBeats
