EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
Market Update
The market giveth and the market mostly taketh away recently with all of the major indexes lower on a slew of important earnings misses. Leading the charge lower includes AMZN, GOOGL and SNAP, to name a few, as they all came up short of earnings expectations and wiping out prior days gains on strong earnings. So if you're looking for any silver lining here it's this; those companies that beat earnings expectations and guide higher are being rewarded while those who miss - or more importantly, guide lower - are being punished which is the way it is supposed to work. The VIX has shot up 10% as it approaches the October 11 high of 28.84 and if that level goes you can expect selling to pick up even more. Currently the NASDAQ and S&P have put in fresh near term lows with the Dow closing in on its recent low. The S&P got as low as 2637 with the next important level of support at 2615. Both the Dow and S&P are technically oversold with the NASDAQ about to join them. But oversold doesn't mean as much when no one wants to touch stocks. Of course the additional selling just means many more stocks are even more oversold which is going to present some terrific opportunities. The key then is to continue to be very picky here with tight stops and keeping some capital available to take advantage of the pull back.

ADDITIONS TO WATCH
First, please note that we will be updating the Candidate Tracker sometime next week to capture those companies that beat bottom and top line expectations and could become high reward to risk trading candidates.
We issued a profit alert this morning on AEO this morning so it will be coming off the Watch List.
We will be adding ATKR to the Watch List IF it pulls back to $19.10. We are going to continue be very picky here.
