EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: First, I wanted to let members know that Tom Bowley and I will be conducting an earnings related webinar next Monday, November 19 at 4:30 pm eastern. We will be focusing on our Strong Earnings Chart List (aka the Candidate Tracker) including identifying the 10 most promising stocks as we get ready to head into year end. There is no need for you to register and you will be sent room instructions prior to the event. The webinar will also be recorded in case you are unable to make the live event. Market Update: Volatility continues to take center stage today with sharp moves in the market with both the NASDAQ and S&P lower. If the bulls are looking for any bright spots here the VIX is actually fairly contained today. In addition we're getting ready to head into a very bullish period of the year as we close in on the Thanksgiving holiday. But the bears still have the technical advantage; both the NASDAQ and S&P remain below all technical levels which continues to be a problem. The bullish period coming up has historically been very kind to small cap stocks which have taken a beating. Perhaps we'll see some leadership from that group which in turn might light a fire underneath the overall market. Still, it's going to be tough for the market to advance much unless both the NASDAQ and S&P catch a bid. At a minimum we need to see both close above their 20 day moving averages which are currently 7346 and 2746, respectively. This would at least give the bulls something to work with. BRIEF COMMENTS ON WATCH LIST STOCKS SHORTS: None LONGS: Large Cap Watch List None Mid Cap Watch List ETSY - We added this stock this morning at an entry price of $46.86 with a price target of $54 and a stop of any CLOSE below $46. Small Cap Watch List TNDM - Stock was up sharply again this morning but has now pulled back into negative territory. Please note we changed the price target to $34.85. Would like to see it regain some momentum into the close. ODP - Stock hit our entry price of $3 this morning so will be added to the Watch List. Any close above $3.10 would be bullish.
