Dear Members: Here we are on the last trading day of the year, and what a year it has been! And it could be ending the way it has been for a while now with the bulls still struggling to hold onto gains for any meaningful amount of time. Of course traders are all wondering; what will the New Year bring? Will traders be in a buying mood once the New Year begins or will we see the continuation of the weakness that's persisted since the market topped in early October? One thing we can likely count on is continuing volatility with the VIX well off the recent high but still showing traders are very nervous. There's really no telling how today will end or what might happen once trading starts on Wednesday.
