EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
Market Update:
Five days of selling in a row were enough for the bulls with all of the major indexes higher as we begin a new trading day and week. Most impressive today is the Dow which has made a 300 point turnaround after Boeing started the day lower by over 10% and since then has recovered some. Also positive for the bulls; both the NASDAQ and S&P are now back above all key technical levels. And the VIX which shot up sharply last Friday on much weaker than expected results is lower by over 7% and quickly back below all key technical levels. Naturally traders are wondering if today's early gains will hold. In particular can the NASDAQ and S&P close back above all of their respective moving averages? After last week's selling we've got a new trading range of 2722 to the downside and 2817 to the upside. With all of the major indexes out of overbought territory there's plenty of room for stocks to move higher if traders remain in a buying mood.
