EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update: The Fed has come and gone with the bulls making the case that its all systems go. So far stocks are higher today with Apple leading the charge higher. A few things are not heading higher including bond yields with the ten year treasury note at its lowest level since January, 2018. Also continuing lower is the $US dollar as it moves below its 200 day moving average for the first time since May, 2018. The VIX, on the other hand, is flat in spite of the rise in stocks. The NASDAQ has climbed back to the 7800, a level last seen in Early October of last year. That's an important level to clear with the next key level of resistance 100 points higher. In order for tech stocks to continue higher traders are going to need to be willing to ignore the fact that the NASDAQ is overbought which they seem to be fine with lately. The Dow and the S&P are now lagging some; traders are loving their tech stocks. The S&P got as high as 2852 earlier in the week so that is now the level that needs to be cleared with yesterday's low of 2812 now support. Now we'll see if the bulls can hold the early gains into the close.
