EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update: Yesterday the NASDAQ and S&P hit levels not seen since early October and now the Dow is following suit with blue chips in the spotlight today. Once again as it looked like the bears might get something going earlier in the session buyers were more than willing to gobble up stocks with the pullback unable to hold. I had pointed to the VIX yesterday that had moved higher in spite of lower stock prices and it did test its 20 day moving average before settling down some. Now today it's fairly flat but possibly showing its own signs of a near term bottom. Even though the major indexes are stretched here there's no sign of an imminent pullback; the 25 points the NASDAQ fell earlier in the session were made up in a flash. The S&P got as high as 2885 yesterday so that's now resistance. After that 2900 should come into play. To the downside there's now a decent ways to go before the first level of technical support at 2826 which means the bears have their work cut out for them in what lately has seemed an impossible task.
