EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update: The bulls weren't crazy about losing ground yesterday and today both the NASDAQ and S&P are higher with only blue chips lagging. The little bit of selling we did see yesterday doesn't exactly qualify as a correction; the market remains lofty. But the bulls might not be ready to relinquish the momentum as we close in on Q1 earnings season. We'll get the Fed minutes from the last FOMC meeting later this afternoon. No surprises are expected so anything out of the blue might result in increased volatility. We know the S&P got as high as 2895 earlier in the week so that's a level the bulls know they need to clear to take stocks higher. To the downside the S&P touched 2873 yesterday which is now support and underneath that the 20 day moving average at 2846. In the meantime the bulls must continue to be respected; they're in charge until something develops to change the narrative.
