EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: Market Update: Today seems ho-hum but in fact the bulls are working on clearing the most recent high of 2895 on the S&P, so far coming up short, with the overall market fairly flat. The market held up just fine after the release of the Fed minutes from the last FOMC meeting yesterday; nothing in the minutes to cause alarm. Traders continue to await earnings from some big banks tomorrow. Whether or not the results will have much of an impact on the market remains to be seen; the overall market has held up quite well in spite of a lagging financial sector. But when we get to next week we'll be getting a slew of earnings from all sectors which will start to give traders a picture of what to expect over the next few weeks. If the bulls are successful in clearing the most recent high of 2895 the bulls will be looking to clear 2900, something that hasn't happened in six months. That, in turn, might fuel a new leg in the rally. However, should the S&P continue to stall at that level, it might result in some profit taking if traders start to get impatient. Nonetheless the benefit of the doubt at the moment continues to favor the bulls. BRIEF COMMENTS ON WATCH LIST STOCKS SHORTS: None LONGS: Large Cap Watch List PANW - Stock is higher by another 1.5%. A close above $245.82 would be bullish. Mid Cap Watch List None Small Cap Watch List IVC - Stock is lower by 3.5% but well off the low of the session. At a minimum like to see it close above our Closing Stop of $7.20. If it does close below $7.20 it will be removed from the Watch List. DOMO - Stock hit our initial entry price of $37.50 yesterday so became an active alert. Today the stock is higher by 3.8% and a close at least back above the 20 day moving average, currently at $38.64, would be bullish.
