EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: Market Update: It's very early but we're starting to get a hint of earnings season and so far it's been mostly positive with the major indexes all trading near the flat line. Witness NFLX that reported mixed earnings after the bell last night, fell sharply after hours and then regained it all back plus some this morning as traders decided to ignore any negative aspect of the report. At the same time UAL is up almost 4% with MS up over 2.5%. On the flip side IBM is down 3% but well off the low of the session. The VIX is up slightly but only after hitting a level not seen since August, 2018, at it got as low as 11.03 as trader confidence remains high. The S&P managed to hit a new near term high of 2918 before a bit of profit taking kicked in and as it continues to inch closer to its all time high. Perhaps we'll see some consolidation into week's end with the market closed on Friday for the Easter holiday and as traders await a slew of earnings reports coming out next week. Bottom line at the moment: overall market environment remains quite positive. The bulls will continue to make a case for revisiting the all time high of 2940. Would like to see it build some strength into the close. Mid Cap Watch List None Small Cap Watch List DOMO - Stock is lower by 3.85% as it pulls back to our second entry level of $36 and revisits its 50 day moving average.
