EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
First, just a reminder that we will have our Q1 Earnings Webinar this afternoon at 4:30 pm eastern. There's no need for you to register and you will be sent room instructions prior to the event. Also the webinar will be recorded for those of you unable to attend the live event.
Market Update
We've got a brand new trading day and week and so far the NASDAQ and S&P are slightly higher as traders await a slew of earnings reports coming out this week. Earlier in the session the bears were hoping the selling would stick but right on cue traders were there to buy on the dip. A lot is at stake this week as we'll get earnings reports from some highly visible, large market cap companies including AMZN, EBAY, INTC, TXN, TWTR and XLNX just to name a few. And the more companies that report the greater sense traders will have about Q1. Right now the bulls are focused on topping last week's high of 2918 on the S&P knowing that if they are successful they will have a shot at revisiting the all time high of 2940. The S&P got as low as 2891 last week so that is now support. So we've got a narrow range just as earnings season kicks into high gear, and until further notice the bulls must be respected.
