EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: We had a GREAT Q1 Earnings Webinaryesterday featuring Tom Bowley yesterday where he examined companies that recently reported earnings as well as some companies getting ready to report their numbers. Most definitely worth watching! Both the NASDAQ and S&P have put in fresh near term highs as they get closer to their respective all time highs. The move higher is being fueled in part by better than expected earnings - witness Twitter up a nifty 16% after beating expectations this morning - and as traders start to believe many more companies could beat expectations over the next few weeks. For sure some key stocks are very stretched including three of the four FANG stocks with only Netflix lagging. So we are seeing the power of the large cap tech stocks; they need to thrive in order for the market to thrive. The S&P got as high as 2925 this morning, only 5 points away from its all time high close. if the bulls can clear that level it could help to keep momentum going.
