EB Watch List Update Report

Dear Members: Market Update Google put a damper on the market yesterday and today Apple has traders in a better mood as we begin a new trading day and month. For sure when AAPL rises 6% in one session the market takes note. And the market also took note of a strong ADP jobs report this morning that comes ahead of the Fed rate announcement this afternoon. Of course everyone knows the Fed won't be raising rates so the language accompanying the report becomes important. But above all traders have been mostly pleased with Q1 earnings having heard from the most important companies like Amazon, Apple, Google and Microsoft. The S&P touched a new all time high today of 2952 as the bulls keep their eyes on 3000. It could be tricky to get to that level with the S&P technically overbought. But traders continue to be willing to buy on dips and hold on to long positions even with the market stretched. At some point we're likely to get some decent selling but that might have to wait. The S&P got as low as 2924 yesterday so that is now support. Bottom line for now; the bulls are in complete control until further notice.
