EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update The bulls are trying to make up some ground with all of the major indexes higher just one day after a major setback. Though the market is higher it comes with new hesitation as confidence was shaken yesterday and with traders wondering if the morning's bounce can last. Where virtually every decent dip over the past five months has been gobbled up the sting of yesterday's selling is very fresh, especially with all of the major indexes below key technical levels. Nerves have calmed some with the VIX down 12% but it remains above all key technical levels; the market is not out of the woods here. A first major test could come if the S&P challenges the 50 day moving average, currently at 2863, a level that could be met with heavy resistance. It's worth noting that none of the major indexes is technically oversold; stock prices could go lower. The S&P got as low as 2801 yesterday so that is now support. So the range at the moment on the S&P is 2801 to the downside and 2863 to the upside and with the market one tweet away from possibly making a decent move one way or another.
