EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members: Market Update The major indexes are no longer oversold after the rally from the past few sessions with both the Dow and S&P now back above their respective 20 day moving averages while the tech heavy NASDAQ lags. The bulls were pleased to get all of the major indexes back above their respective 200 day moving averages, critically important to stop the selling that started in early May. The tech sector continues to pose challenges for the bulls, especially the large market cap stocks that have led the NASDAQ and overall market lower. All attention will turn to jobs tomorrow when the non-farm payroll numbers are released at 8:30 am eastern. We saw the very weak ADP report on Wednesday with traders wondering if we might see the same thing tomorrow and if so how will the market react. Now that the S&P has moved back above both its 200 and 20 day moving averages - at least on an Intra Day level - the next key level of resistance could come into play near the 50 day, currently at 2868. To the downside the bulls would like to hold the line at the 20 day, currently at 2826, or face more selling. BRIEF COMMENTS ON WATCH LIST STOCKS SHORTS: None LONGS: Large Cap Watch List OMC - Stock is flat as it continues to struggle to remain above its 20 and 50 day moving averages. A close above its 50 day, currently at $78.45, would be bullish. Small Cap Watch List MTOR - Stock is down slightly after hitting its highest level since early May and a close back above that level of $21.61 would be bullish.
