EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
First, I want to remind members that we will be having our "Q2 Earnings" webinar next Monday, 4:30 pm eastern. During this webinar I will be joined by Tom Bowley who will be identifying a number of stocks that he believes are strong trading candidates. There's no need for you to register for the event and you will be sent room instructions prior to the start of the webinar which will be recorded for those of you unable to attend the live presentation.
Market Update:
Some strong earnings after the bell last night and then this morning have traders in a good mood with all of the major indexes higher as we wrap up another busy week of earnings. So far the S&P has come up just short of the most recent high as traders wonder what might power the market higher now that traders have a good sense of the overall earnings picture. There are still a ton of earnings reports due to come out over the next few weeks but the companies that traders care about the most - with the exception of Apple next week - have already reported. We've also got the Fed rate decision coming out next week, for sure something the market cares about. The high on the S&P of just below 3020 is a level the bulls know they need to clear for the market to go higher. To the downside 2975 is a level that should provide support on any selling.
