Dear Members, KEY EARNINGS REPORTS: Thursday: GPN, MU, SCHN Friday: AZZ, KMX MARKET NOTE: Money continues to rotate away from aggressive areas of the market and that's a negative development for the sustainability of the attempted 2014 rally. Be careful and please consider keeping stops in place. ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: There are no additions to our Watch Lists today. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Short Watch List: No new comments at this time. Large Cap Watch List: CAT - Remains one of the best performing stocks in the market. COO - Fractional loss today a reminder what a great relative performer that COO has been. FFIV - Failed at key moving average resistance and turning lower today. 102-106 remains a solid price support level. MCO - Yesterday's advance to 83.30, just shy of our 84.00 Target Price, is now a distant memory as selling takes over. Back and forth whipsaw action highlights this stock in the 77-84 trading range. ROC - Not falling much from 20 day EMA resistance, a good sign. But we still need to see a close above 75.50 for the chart to become more short-term bullish. TEL - Breakout yesterday confirmed with heavy volume. MACD solid too so consider entry on any 20 day EMA test. UA - Heavy volume selloff helping us close in on Initial Entry at 109.18. VIPS - Rough day, but thus far bouncing off 20 day EMA support - not bad technically, just volatile. Mid Cap Watch List: ATK - Very strong price action with strengthening momentum - a very solid candidate lately given the whipsaw market conditions. YY - Volatility running supreme here. In four short days, YY has been up more than 10% and is now back beneath our Initial Entry price. For anyone who profited, re-entry from the current price down to 70.00 is not a bad strategy. Clearly, however, you need to be able to tolerate significant risk and price fluctuation. Small Cap Watch List: PLOW - Down a little more than 1% on light volume. The combination of 20 day EMA support and price support should be expected to hold the bears at bay. DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: There are no deletions today unless Closing Stops are violated.
