Dear Members, KEY EARNINGS REPORTS: Tuesday: DKS, HD, MDT, TJX Wednesday: AEO, EV, HPQ, IRF, LOW, PETM, SJM, SNPS, SPLS, TGT MARKET NOTE: The strong finish late last week really set this market up for higher prices. After the gap up early on Friday and the subsequent 2-3 hour decline, it appeared as though reversing candles would be everywhere. Instead, the bulls managed to take prices higher into the close and that left many technical buyers ready and willing to buy to start the week, especially as tensions in Ukraine eased. ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: There are no additions to our Watch Lists today. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Short Watch List: MTW - Triggered our Second Entry at the 20 day EMA at 28.43. PVA - Triggered our Second Entry at 13.72. Today's intraday high was 13.73. The recent buying has been on lessening volume. I'd expect a reversal to the downside from the current level. Large Cap Watch List: FDX - Flat today, but FDX has made a nice run since early August. Mid Cap Watch List: There are no Mid Cap Watch List stocks at this time.
