Dear Members, KEY EARNINGS REPORTS: Wednesday: AXP, BAC, EBAY, KMI, LVS, NFLX, PNC, SCHW, STJ Thursday: AMD, BBT, COF, CY, DAL, GOOGL, GS, PM, SLB, SNDK, UNH, XLNX MARKET NOTE: The Volatility Index (VIX) continues to be the story as money is flooding into treasuries and abandoning almost every area of stocks. All nine sectors are lower once again today. The stock market is very oversold and options expiration could lead to short-term upside action. But that is no guarantee and we should all recognize the technical breakdowns that have occurred. Please take necessary precautions to guard against further stock market decline. ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: There are no additions today. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Short Watch List: There are no Short Watch List stocks at this time. Large Cap Watch List: BIDU - Approached our final entry, but did not trigger. Has recovered some since the early lows. NKE - Seeing lots of volatility and hanging in fairly well on relative basis. PLL - Latest to struggle, doing so out of the gate this morning. A close below 80.50 and we'll remove it from our Watch List. SPR - Trying to print a hammer, but it's also below our Closing Stop of 34.75. Watch this one into the close. Mid Cap Watch List: AMBA - Rallying off of price support in the 35-36 range. JACK - Down today, but key short-term price support resides just above 63.60. SNCR - Daily MACD now reset near centerline as SNCR attempts to hold 50 day SMA support. VEEV - Holding the line at the bottom of gap support. Be careful on a close much below 24.90, although our Closing Stop is 24.00. Small Cap Watch List: NX - Performing quite well, now back close to our initial entry price close to 18.10. DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: There are no deletions today unless closing stops are violated. PLL and SPR are the two in the most danger. Happy trading!
