EB Watch List Update

Dear Members, KEY EARNINGS REPORTS: Thursday: ABT, AMZN, BABA, BRCM, BX, CAH, CB, CELG, CL, COH, COP, DB, DECK, DOW, EMC, F, GOOGL, HAR, HOG, HSY, MCHP, MJN, NOC, NOK, OXY, PHM, QLGC, RCL, RTN, SYNA, TWC, V, VLO, WYNN Friday: MO, CVX, LLY, LM, TYC, TSN MARKET NOTE: We're seeing a confused trader today. It stems from yesterday's Fed rate announcement where on one hand the Fed pointed to some positive economic progress while on the other hand they stated they would be "patient" regarding raising rates. This message has traders scratching their collective heads and wondering if/when rates might be raised. Bond yields fell hard yesterday so the answer to that question might now seem more obvious. Stocks are now mixed with the Dow higher, the NASDAQ slightly lower and the S&P fairly flat. The bulls really need to keep the S&P above 2000 to at least show they are able to hold a key psychological level. Q4 preliminary GDP comes out tomorrow morning with expectations of +3.2% compared to +5.0% last quarter. It is the type of report that can move the market, depending on actual results. Large Cap Watch List: BA - Added the stock yesterday as noted in the EB update report. Still need to add chart to our web site but the stock is up almost 4.5% today. Mid Cap Watch List: VDSI - Noted yesterday that the stock was at a strong reward to risk entry point on the chart. Today it is higher by 5.75% Small Cap Watch List: There are no Small Watch List stocks at this time. DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: There are no deletions today unless closing stops are violated.
