EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members, KEY EARNINGS REPORTS: Friday: FL, SPLS, TRCO Monday: KFY, UNFI, URBN MARKET NOTE: One day after the bulls were feeling better, the bears are celebrating today with all of the major indexes substantially lower. The catalyst for the move lower seems to be the better than expected jobs report which has triggered a spike in bond yields. For example, the ten year treasury note is up 14 basis points and is back to 2.25% compared to the most recent low of 1.65%. This is evidence that the market now believes the Fed will be raising rates sooner than many think is wise. Whatever the case, a close below 2090 on the S&P would be bearish with 2062, the 50 day moving average, now vital support. ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: There are no additions today to the Watch List.
