EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members, First, you can find the recording to yesterday's webinar on the best way to use the Earnings Beats site on your member home page. Here is a link: http://investedcentral.adobeconnect.com/p5ae9yj4izv/ MARKET NOTE: The market is in retreat mode today after two up days with the NASDAQ in particular getting hit hard, down over 1% and off 3% since last week's high of 5119. Seems like it got too close to its all time high for the bears to swallow. While stocks are lower bond yields and oil prices are higher with the ten year treasury note up 5 ticks as it challenges its 200 day moving average from the south side. A move and close above 2.19% could take yields even higher, somewhat interesting with economists today indicating first quarter GDP might have actually been negative. All very confusing to traders who are opting for safety at the moment. 2090 is important technical support on the S&P and a close below that level could set the market up for more selling. ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS: Once again there are no additions to the Watch List today but we've got a sizable number of stocks on our Candidate Tracker list that we will be monitoring. We also removed some stocks and added some more to the Candidate Tracker list depending on their status relative to earnings dates and will provide additional information as we fine tune the process. As I pointed out yesterday history shows that May 5 to May 25 is one of the rockiest periods of the year. So we want to at least be mindful of this fact and tread more on the lighter side than be overly aggressive and as we wait for even better opportunities. BRIEF COMMENTS ON SELECT WATCH LIST STOCKS: Short Watch List: There are no Short Watch List stocks at this time. Large Cap Watch List GPRO - Starting to look like a reverse right shoulder forming with our possible second entry at $47.02 looming. Mid Cap Watch List RH - Down just over 1% on light volume. Still awaiting second entry at $84.50. Small Cap Watch List SWHC - Holding up nicely in today's weak market DELETIONS FROM OUR WATCH LISTS: There are no deletions unless a Watch List stock hits its stop loss.
