EB Watch List Update Report

John Hopkins -
Dear Members, MARKET NOTE: The market is actually holding up quite well considering key economic reports from this morning that came out weaker than expected. This is especially true of Michigan sentiment that showed the mood of the consumer has soured some. We also saw a weaker than expected Empire manufacturing report which might help to explain lower bond yields today. But the VIX shows a fairly calm trading environment as we move towards options expiration and the end of another week which so far has favored the bulls. And it's coming at one of the weakest historical periods of the year. Now the bulls are looking to clear two levels; 2125 on the S&P and 18,288 on the Dow, both representing new all time highs. It might be easier said than done but certainly not out of the realm of possibilities.
