EB Watch List Update Report
Dear Members:
First, please note that we will be adding some stocks to and taking some stocks off our Candidate Tracker later today.
MARKET NOTE:
Not a pleasant start to the week for the bulls with all of the major indexes downs over 1%. Turns out all of the negative headlines about Greece seem to be playing out today with world market tumbling. Nerves are being test today with the VIX down 23% as it climbs above all key technical levels, favoring the bears. Bond yields are down sharply as well as traders move to safety with the ten year treasury note down over 11 basis points near 2.36%. Only the utility sector is higher today as traders get defensive. So far the &P has held support at 2072, the most recent low. If that goes then the 200 day moving average, now at 2053, could come into play. That's something that hasn't happened since February 1 so the bulls are looking to turn things around as quickly as possible or risk further selling.
ADDITIONS TO WATCH LISTS:
No additions to the Watch List today. Need to let this bout of selling pass as we wait for better opportunities.
